Rheumatology

Rheumatology is a medical specialty that deals with rheumatic diseases. It is often referred to as 'rheumatism'. Rheumatic complaints are pain complaints in parts of the musculoskeletal system such as muscles, tendons, joints, bones and / or internal organs. The most common types of rheumatism are osteoarthritis, gout, soft tissue rheumatism (fibromyalgia) and rheumatoid arthritis.
